Managing asthma

Asthma medications are important to adequately control your symptoms, improve your overall lung health and reduce the frequency of attacks. Your doctor may prescribe a combination of medications to help prevent future asthma attacks (called preventers), and medications to reduce symptoms as they appear (called relievers).1

Remember, good control of your asthma symptoms means they don't, or very minimally interfere with everyday activities.
